Marshall Kirk and Patricia Otero
As a documentary of the lives of Patricia and Marshall, this book is a
physical embodiment of their lives intersecting and bonding into one
story. Two books intersect to form one body and one book. Two timelines
intersect to become a third book, the book of Catherine Kirk. The kiss
featured on the end pages indicated the product of their love was
Catherine. However, because they broke up, the book of Catherine takes
on new meaning. No longer a product of love (because love no longer
exists), Catherine becomes their only connection. The kiss is
interrupted by Catherine, because she has replaced the purpose of love.
She is now what holds them together. She is now their only connection.
She holds these people and (physically) their books together.
